The Fight for Inclusion

Women professional big-wave surfers are fighting for inclusion in this seasons Mavericks event. 

Checkout the Sept. 5th CEWS Proposal for a Women's Division in the 2016/17 Mavericks event. And read Cartel's disingenuous and ill-conceived Oct. 14th scheme to include one women's heat in a future 2017/18 event in exchange for a multiyear permit from the Coastal Commission.
