Mando (they/them) works on social justice issues in the surf industry and has collaborated with Surf Equity since 2016, when we were known as the Committee for Equity in Women’s Surfing.
Mando is a self proclaimed “board nerd” with a quiver to rival any pro surfer. Mando’s progression from competitive surf grom to nonbinary trans surf shaper is right on time!
